I have written numerous b-plans and the BEST way to go is with http://www.jian.com/ . I have used their b-plan software to get SBA guaranteed loans.

Don't waste your money on buying a business plan unless you are looking for venture capital in excess of $1,000,000. You can take a look at my blog for some of my previous posts on how to write a business plan if you like.
What are the problems you are having with your plan? The reality is probably that it is not your plan that is the problem. It's probably missing information like financials or market analysis. When you hire a firm to write the plan for you.. .guess what.. they'll be missing the same info. Make a list of your problems and then address those independently of your plan. You'll find that after you have addressed your five biggest individual problems that your business plan will all of a sudden come together.

I agree with others that you should build your own business plan. A business plan is a great way to start your company and detail how you will make it all work. It is best to write your own plan so you can defend the conclusions when they tear it apart. You can and should write your own business plan.
