Default Website Creation Question

I am looking into creating an information website that allows users to leave reviews and that also has a forum. Can anyone direct me to someone who can help me create a website with these features or possibly a company or program that is inexpensive? Thanks!

Hi Beth,

I don't know if I'm allowed to promote myself here... but since you asked LOL.. I run Just Spiffy Web Design at www.justspiffy.com. Take a look around, and contact me for more info if you'd like.

Do you have any experience at all in designing a website. If so, I could get a template created for you and you could plug in your information in there. It will still cost something, but not as much as a full design. Unfortunately, you will have to spend something for this type of service. What is your budget?

right now i have a very limited budget and i have no knowledge of how to design a website or even html. i was thinking of going with a website builder . im not so concerned about the forum, i am more concerned about the reviews. im thinking of having a form to fill out for reviews that would then appear on another page looking nice.

Take a look at Joomla if you are on tight budget. It is free software that will give you CMS features, forum, etc. Once you get thru installation, the web site management is very simple (if you get the latest 1.5 version).

Hi Faith

All you need (NEED) to get started is a Domain Name and a Hosting Account. The Domain should cost you $10 bucks per year or so, and the Hosting about %80 bucks per year as you start out.

Try to get Linux hosting... with CPanel. CPanel in most cases will come with a nifty tool called "Fantastico" that will allow you to "one-click" and install a forum, or a content management system, or a blog, or all three

Learn more here:

For more advanced customization try posting the requirements at a website like Rent-A-Coder.

I hope this helps?

Erik

Default well

Simply hire a programmer(web designer) from a freelance site. It is just outsourcing the work to an expert. Works out well and cheap also.
