Hi All,
I'm curious to hear from both people running hosting businesses and their customers on this topic. What's your favorite backup method? When I ran a hosting company, we put a secnd hard drive in each shared server. As a customer, I like to have my host do backups too, but feel most secure having a copy on my hard drive. How about third-party solutions? |

We have the server do rolling backups for every day, week, and month on a separate hard drive. This gives us good flexibility when something goes wrong to help fix the client's issues.
Note: we only host customers, so we also have their source files in several other places as well. Your host should give you backups for a reasonable amount of money (we include it in the hosting fee, but some charge extra). I haven't seen a lot of third-party solutions that I liked for backups, though I'm sure they exist. Seth Stacey Oklahoma City Web Design |

I prefer Managed Hosting because it fulfills my all hosting requirement. There are many type of hosting available now that’s why you should give more attention while choosing hosting service for your website.
